All City of Statesville offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24, in observance of Thanksgiving.

The Statesville Fitness & Activity Center will be closing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22. The Statesville Fitness & Activity Center and Bentley Community Center will reopen on Saturday, November 25, for regular hours.

Garbage Collection

There will be no garbage collection on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. Here are the revised sanitation routes for November 20-24:

♦ Residential: Monday’s routes will be collected on the regular schedule. Tuesday and Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday. Thursday and Friday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday.

♦ Commercial businesses with roll-out carts or garbage containers: Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Monday. Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday. Friday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday. Saturday’s routes will operate on a regular schedule.
