Trinity Episcopal Church in Statesville held a Blessing of the Animals Service on Sunday, October 1, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. Father Brad Mullis blessed the animals, including three dogs from the Statesville Police Department’s K9 Unit. An offering was taken for the Iredell County Humane Society.
