Barry George Warren, 73, of Sherrills Ford, N.C., passed away on December 13, 2019, at his home. He was born in Hutchinson, Kan., on August 2, 1946, to the late Ed and Eunice Warren of Rochester, Minn., where he resided during his youth. Barry graduated from Lourdes High School, Rochester Community College, University of Arizona, USC, and University of Mainz, Germany. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 26 years.

Barry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy; son, Vaughn; daughter, Kara (Jon); grandson, Jaxon; brothers, Mark (Jasmine), Bob (Kristi) and John (Lory); sisters, Kathy and Wendy (Steve); sisters-in-law, Connie (Lynn) and Cathy (Robert); and many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held on December 18 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service in the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Interment will be in Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.
