Tina Marie Davis, 61, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on June 24, 2021. She was born on May 30, 1960, in St. Petersburg, Fla., to Elaine Kyles Davis and the late Michael Davis.

Tina had a green thumb and loved working with plants and flowers. She was especially talented in bringing a plant back to life. She enjoyed her career working at Food Lion and Angel Care Veterinary. Tina never met a stranger and was mom, sister and friend to many. She loved traveling to the beach and hunting for shells and shark teeth. She reconnected with her faith and was a member of Fallstown Baptist Church.

Tina loved her family dearly and would help anyone any way that she could. She was a strong woman who fought a courageous battle with cancer and did not want that to be her identifier. No matter what appointment during her illness that she attended, she always had a smile on her face and a very positive attitude.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Ruth Kyles, and Clarence and Catherine Davis.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Kristin Price White (Andrew) and Sara Price; sisters, Jackie McCall (Frank), and Linda Caron (Charlie); brother, Brad Davis (Stephanie); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; her fur baby, Maggie; and her grand-fur babies, Witten, Willow and Banjo.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Century Gardens, 904 Rogers Lake Road, Kannapolis, N.C., on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 7 p.m. Receiving of friends will be held prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m. Please wear her favorite color, red, or white for lung cancer to the service if able.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5005 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081; Pet Pilgrimage, 494 E. Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115; or GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, P.O. Box 418372, Boston, MA 02241.
