Veronica Latrish Everhart Allison, 47, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was born May 21, 1975, in Baltimore, Md., to Ada Beaity Everhart and the late WC Everhart. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Lillian Everhart and Leatha Mae Miller.

Veronica was a member and Deaconess of The Decision Church in Cornelius, N.C. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, cooking, singing, and teaching pre-school. Veronica loved being with her family more than anything.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Allison; mother, Ada Beaity Everhart; children, Jacolby Everhart and wife Mariah, Michael Turner, Adarrya Morris and husband Broderick, JerNard Allison, JerLeel Allison, Adarryll Smith, Andrew Smith, and Aaron Smith; siblings, Dennis Everhart, O’Brien Shuford, Tyree Gillespie, Melissa Terry, Parriss Cowan and husband Otis, and Sharita Shuford; grandchildren, Talia Littlejohn, Reign Fulton, Raelynn Bennett, Brody Morris and Alaya Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Veronica will be held on Saturday, November 19, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Pastor Andreas Parsley-Williams officiating.
